Mani Kohli, a couture fashion entrepreneur for over 40 years whose name is synonymous with creativity, femininity and elegance, is the driving force behind this site that brings to you the craft of generational artisans in the form of timeless ensembles and accessories.
Learning the art of dress cutting at only 12 years old, Mani recognised her passion for tailoring and fashion very early in life, but it was only when she arrived in London from Delhi at the age of 19, did the passion eventually flourish into a thriving business. Mani over the past 4 decades has served 3 generations of customers, founded and successfully built Khubsoorat Collection, dressed many Bollywood actors, British Royalty, Politicians, Global Musicians, and even created costumes for British movies such as “Bend it like Beckham” and “Amar Akbar and Tony”, and “What’s Love Got To Do With It”. She is rooted in honouring where she hails from whilst constantly innovating her designs that balance heritage and modernity.
Now fully immersed into the e-commerce space, Mani would like to use this platform to highlight the real heroes of the fashion realm – the artisans as well as celebrate creative artists bringing that craftsmanship to the world. You will find crafts, weaving, embroidery, textiles and much more represented by various designers and their work on this platform - Allowing you to support artisans whilst expressing your own identity.
